This is a great quote from Og because its telling you to not give up in what you want to persuade your dreams. An example is if you want to be a doctor than you have to put effort in what you want to achieve.  


Perfusionist
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perfusionists operate circulation equipment for patient’s circulatory or respiratory functions. The go in during heart surgery, or similar surgery’s. Their duties are to know how to handle a heart lung machines. They take care of some types of anesthesia. Also administrate some types of medication.

Salary: $50,000

Education:
They need high school diploma with a background of biology and chemistry to be able to get in a perfusionist training programs. There work preference is given if they have a college science work or experience in respiratory. Their training programs are at academic health centers and medical schools. They usually perform 150 procedures and include 20 pediatric and infant cases.  

Reflection:

I would want to be a perfusionist because they help in the surgery and that’s a cool job to do.

This quote is true because all you need is persistence and determination to follow you dreams and that’s all you have to do to achieve great things. An example is if you don’t have persistence or determination than you can’t achieve your goals.
Patient representative
Duties and responsibilities:
Patient representatives work for healthcare administrators for any concerns and special needs. They evaluate the patients comfort, and also the dissatisfaction. They work with patient problems and educate the staff members. They work in nursing homes, hospitals, and facilities.

Salary: $20,000-$40,000

Educational requirements:
Students have to take business, science, math, and English at high school. They have to go to college with a background of health or social services.

Reflection:

I would be a patient representative because there job is calm and it’s a really cool job for me to work in.

 I agree with his quote because us if you can make something negative into positive than that’s a good thing. That’s how you can change failure to an extraordinary achievement. An example is if you have a fail than go to tutoring. 
Osteopathic physician (D.O.)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Osteopathic physicians use the method of diagnosing and treating injuries and diseases. The allopathic physicians (M.D.) are different from them because they emphasizing the importance of the musculoskeletal system, proper nutrition, in maintaining good health. The osteopaths use an approach to medicine. They work in osteopathic hospital or private practice.

Salary: $110,000

Education:
Students should take high school AP or IB math, science, and English courses. It three years to four of college. Some may attend medical school. Undergraduate requirement are admition to medical school including one year of basic chemistry. Some medical shoos also require course of calculus, English, humanities, or social science. Medical school usually takes two years including the additional study.


Reflection: I would want to be an Osteopathic if it was an option.

Optometrist
Duties and responsibilities:
Optometrist treats vision problems and they diagnose the problems. They also prescribe the corrected glasses for the patient. They also prescribe contacts lenses or may also offer vision therapy. Ophthalmologists are not the same as an optometrist because they can’t prescribe medical prescriptions nor treat diseases. Many optometrist works in hospitals, Gov. Agencies, or even universities.  

Salary: $78,000

Education:
 Student should take AP or IB classes available like math, science, and English. You should at least have two years in college. Then you also have to pass the state exams before you start the practice.


Reflection: 
I would like to be an optometrist because it is a good well pay job but I think that it would be challenge to be an optometrist because you have a lot of school.

Video of John F. Kennedy


I saw that a lot of people were doing working outs. I heard that Kennedy was trying to encourage parents to make there kid to work out more and be more physical. I learn new work out to do and I think with that motivational talk I would want to do more exercise. i would eat betterand work out more.

I agree with this quote because it’s true that you brain has to do with it because you want to tell yourself that you can do it and motivate yourself. An example is if you are lazy and don’t want to get up tell yourself to get up and get energy 

Optician

Optician

Duties and Responsibilities:
Optician fit and dispense eyeglasses based on the prescription. Opticians help customers find them glasses. They measure the distance to fit it correctly. They can work in their own stores or in an optical store.

Salary: $19,000-$40,000

Education:
Students need to take classes in physics, algebra, mechanical drawing, and geometry in high school. They need a high school diploma or a GED. The courses can take two years to complete on a school of opticianry or three years in a job apprenticeship.  

Reflection:

I would like to be an optician because it sounds interesting and fun to work in.

This statement is talking about how students have what it takes to follow their dreams and that you can do it with excellence. For example if I a person what their dream to come true they need to work hard for that.

Optical Laboratory Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:
Optical Laboratory Technician makes the lances and grind, fit it to the eyeglasses into the frames and according to the prescriptions. The technicians set the grinding machine so that they can polish and blank the lens. From there the fit it into the eyeglasses frames. Optical laboratory technician work at optical laboratories. They also work in stores that have optical departments.

Salary: $15,000-$20,000

 Education:
This job is needed a high school diploma or GED. You need to begin in optical laboratory training. The training programs last between 6 month to one year. Some stores departments provide job training  

Reflection:

I would take this job if they offered me to work on it and it would be fun.

This is a good statement because you don’t want to be selfish and you don’t need to actually win it okay if you lose but you need to get up when you lose and keep trying. An example is if you don’t win a race that okay just practice and practice that will take you anywhere. 
Ophthalmologist
Duties and Responsibilities:
They specialize in treatment of eye disorder and disease. They also treat vision problems and they also give them prescriptions for eyeglass lenses. They also sometimes perform surgery if they need too. Some of this ophthalmologist work in private hospital but some also work in clinics.

Salary: $90,000-$150,000

Education:
Only physicians may study to be an ophthalmologist. You have to complete medical school and internship the students have to have three to five year residency in an approved ophthalmologist program. Then they also have to pass an examination program.

Reflection:

 I would want to be an ophthalmologist because I like the fact that I work with eyes.

I think this is a good statement because no one is responsible but you in any choses. An example is if you tell you teacher that was the test so hard but its maybe because you didn’t study.
Ophthalmic Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:
Ophthalmic technicians help ophthanologists collect data to allow the correct diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases or problems. Ophthalmic Technicians work at hospitals, clinics, or in private hospitals. They perform simple eye exams. They also assist with eye surgery; Explaining diagnostic and treatment procedures to patients.

Salary: $14,000-$25,000

Educational Requirements:
Students will require a high school diploma or a GED. Student also needs two years of college prior to beginning ophthalmic training programs.   


Reflection: I wouldnt want work in this job because iam not interested in that job. I also think that its a bit to gross

Progress report post on my 100 goal


My progress on my 100 goals is good because I read my goal when in school and home to. I have achieved 1 goal my getting good grade in my English class. I would like to take more time of my life to do something that would make me happy and benefit some one else.  I’m happy that I am completing some of my goals in life.

Operating Room Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:
Operating technician are also called surgical technicians. They assist in preparing operating rooms. They are responsible for having sterile bandages and linens, need fluids, and other equipment’s to be ready for the operation room. They also assist doctors by handing them the needed equipment. They also deliver tools to hospitals labs for analysis, and after operations to take them to recovery room. 


Salary: $16,000-$22,000

Education:
For this job you need a high school diploma or a GED. You may go to junior colleges offering programs in operating room technology and they may also take at a large hospital. Programs may take between one year to two years. Students receive training in a medical physiology and sterilization methods. At the end of the training they must pass an examination by the Association of Surgical Technologists to become certified.

Reflection:

I would love to be an operational room technician because it’s in the doctor field. Also because I think my sister works in surgery doctor assistant.
