Psychiatric Aide – Technician

Duties and responsibilities:

The psychiatric technicians take care of people that have mental illness and other disabilities. They provide therapeutic care. They help ill people with their daily activities and ensure safe and clean environment. They observe patients behavior and listen to the concerns and keep record their condition. They also monitor patient’s vital signs and blood pressure.  

Salary: $27,440

Education:

They need a high school diploma. They need to have any psychiatric or mental health programs. They have 2 years to get the associate degree. They train a short amount of period before they get to work.

Reflection: I wouldn’t want to have this job because I really don’t think iam good for that job and the work you do in the job.
