Duties and
Responsibilities:
They help people
that are mentally, emotionally, or physically disabled and have to adapt to being
a handicap. They also help to relearn how to do daily living and self-care
skills. They also work in a team with physicians, counselors, and physical
therapist. Occupational therapist makes and design therapy programs to work
with patients to help them and monitor their progress. Occupational Therapist
usually work at hospitals, and some time in clinics and nursing homes.
Salary: $26,000-$45,000
Education:
Students are to take math, science, and English courses in high school. All
states require a bachelors or master’s degree. They also need completion of a
national examination to become a certified occupational therapist
Reflection: I
would sternly like to become an occupational therapist because I can help
people I would totally work as one.
