Health sciences librarian
Duties and
responsibilities:
Health sciences
librarian work with library technician they collect and organize information. With
that information they help practitioners to find the patient care, education,
and research. They also select books, journals, and other material. They also
deal with establish electronic and digital information systems. They also control
budgets and supervise library technicians.
Salary: $35,000-$55,000
Education:
Student
needs to take math, science, management, and English. Some jobs provide job training
but they prefer to train in a community college or technical school. They must
have a master’s degree in library science and undergraduate degree in one of
life science.
-I wouldn't be
a health science librarian because I really not in to the work that they do. I don’t
find it interesting just to look up patients care folders.
