Histology Specialist
Duties and
responsibilities:
Histologists
prepare tissue samples that physicians use to determine if patient has a disease,
dysfunctions, or malignancy. Histologists make there sample tester with tissue
samples. They need the tissue sample also to make the chemicals visible under a
microscope. Histologist’s specialist performs more complex and advance procedures
than a histology technicians.
Salary: $22,000-$50,000
Education:
students have to take science, math, and English. Students must either earn an
associate degree and complete one year of histology specialist. The student
needs to also pass a national examination. They also need one year in clinical internship.
Reflection:
I wouldn't like to be a histologist because it not what I want be in life. I also wouldn’t
like to work as one because I really don’t like working in lab and anther reason
why because I want to help people in other ways.
