Duties and
Responsibilities:
Genetic counselor work with families who have genetics, inherited,
disorders, or birth defects and they also counsel for the people that have those
problems. They help families to understand the best way there sickness. They also
help with telling them that their disorders are not a conflict with their religion
or there ethics. They conduct research about genetic disorders.
Average Salary:
$25,000-$55,000
Education:
To
become a genetic counselor you need to have a high school diploma. You have to take
a challenge mathematics and science class in high school. Master’s degree on Genetic Counselor. They
also need to have to finish a biology, chemistry, and behavior science.
I would like to be
a genetic counselor because you help people that need help and I think that’s a
great job for people that like to help.
